1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how YFB Media handles information in connection with the YFB Media website at yfbmedia.com. It covers the website, and nothing else.
It does not cover our mobile applications. Tilou, our Android puzzle game, has its own separate policy, because an app handles information in ways a business website does not. If that is what you are looking for, see the Tilou Privacy Policy.
If you have a question about anything on this page, write to info@yfbmedia.com.
2. Information You Provide
This website has no accounts and no sign-in. The only information you give us directly is what you choose to type into the contact form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- A subject line, if you enter one
- Your message
- Any project details you choose to include in that message
Name, email address and message are required; the subject line is optional. Nothing on the form asks for payment details, identity documents or other sensitive information, and you should not send those through it. Please share only what you are comfortable sending by ordinary email.
3. Contact Form Provider
The contact form is handled by Web3Forms, a third-party form service. When you press send, your details go to Web3Forms, which delivers them to YFB Media by email. Your submission therefore passes through Web3Forms' systems before it reaches us.
Web3Forms processes that information under its own terms and privacy documentation, which you can read in the Web3Forms Privacy Policy. We do not control how Web3Forms runs its service, and this policy does not describe its internal practices on its behalf.
The form also contains a hidden anti-spam field. It is there to catch automated submissions, and it is not used to gather information about you.
4. Website Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. Analytics may process technical and usage information, including:
- Pages viewed and interactions with the site
- Device and browser information
- Approximate geographic information, where Analytics provides it
- Referral information, such as the site or search that brought you here
- Analytics identifiers associated with your browser or device
This information is primarily associated with a browser or a device rather than with a named person, and we do not attempt to use it to work out who an individual visitor is. It is not completely anonymous, and this policy does not describe it as such. Google may also collect information automatically as part of operating the service. For the detail, see Google's description of how Analytics handles data and the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
Google Analytics, and any other third-party service used on this website, may set cookies or use similar technologies in your browser where applicable, in order to operate and to measure usage of the site.
This website does not currently present a cookie consent banner, and this policy does not claim that it does. If a consent mechanism is added later, this page will be updated to describe it. In the meantime, most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their own settings, and Google explains its own use of them in How Google uses cookies.
6. How We Use Information
- To respond to enquiries sent through the contact form
- To communicate with you about a potential project or engagement
- To operate, maintain and improve the website
- To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used
- To maintain security and diagnose technical problems
We do not use contact form submissions to build advertising profiles, and this website does not display advertising.
7. Service Providers
Running a website means relying on other companies. The ones involved here are:
- Our hosting provider — stores the website files and serves the pages, so its systems process the requests your browser makes.
- Web3Forms — receives and delivers contact form submissions, as described in section 3.
- Google Analytics — processes website usage information, as described in section 4.
Each of these providers handles information under its own terms and privacy documentation. We may also disclose information where we are required to do so by law.
YFB Media does not sell personal information. We are not making the broader claim that information is never shared with anyone, because that would not be accurate: the providers above necessarily handle it in order for the website and the contact form to work at all.
8. Data Retention
Contact enquiries may be kept for as long as is reasonably necessary to reply to you, to continue a conversation about a project, to keep ordinary business records, or to meet obligations that apply to us.
Analytics information is retained according to the retention settings configured in Google Analytics and Google's applicable policies. This policy does not state specific retention periods, because they depend on the nature of the enquiry and on Google product settings rather than on a fixed schedule we could honestly publish here.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. The website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and contact form submissions are transmitted to Web3Forms over HTTPS.
10. External Links
This website links to third-party services, including our social media profiles, WhatsApp, and the providers named in this policy. Once you follow a link away from yfbmedia.com you are on a service we do not control, and that service's own privacy policy governs what happens there.
11. Your Requests
If you have a privacy question, want to ask what information YFB Media holds about you, or want us to delete a contact enquiry you sent, write to info@yfbmedia.com.
We will handle requests where it is technically feasible and as required by obligations that apply to us. Two practical limits are worth stating plainly: we can normally find a contact enquiry only if you tell us the email address you sent it from, and we cannot delete records held by a service provider where we have no technical control over them. This policy does not make jurisdiction-specific guarantees about particular statutory rights.
12. Children
This is a business and informational website, intended for general professional use. It is not designed for or directed at children, and it is not built to collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something through the contact form, contact info@yfbmedia.com and we will deal with it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the website's functionality or the services it relies on change — for example if the contact form provider changes, or if a cookie consent mechanism is introduced. When that happens we will change the "Last updated" date shown at the top of this page.
